COGNIFY – Empowering Autism Inclusion in Underserved Pakistan
COGNIFY is a flagship initiative of SRMC, aimed at creating Pakistan’s first scalable, community-based autism micro-center network.
Autism remains one of the most under-addressed challenges in Pakistan. An estimated 400,000+ children on the autism spectrum live without access to diagnosis, therapy, or inclusive education—especially in rural and low-income communities. For families, the journey is often marked by stigma, silence, and helplessness.
COGNIFY is our answer to this urgent need.
COGNIFY is a purpose-driven model of autism micro-centers designed to bring early intervention, therapy, and family empowerment directly to underserved communities. It is Pakistan’s first scalable, donor-supported autism care framework—blending accessibility, affordability, and local empowerment.
Each center provides:
- Autism screening and developmental assessments
- Therapy and customized development plans
- Parent and teacher training sessions
- Community awareness programs
- Employment for local women caregivers and therapists
Why It Matters
COGNIFY focuses not only on children but also on building the capacity of families, schools, and public health systems to support inclusion. In doing so, it serves as a powerful tool for social transformation—with a strong emphasis on gender equity, community engagement, and sustainable operations.
How It Works
Each micro-center is established by integrating affordable therapy services, community outreach, and low-cost diagnostic interventions, every COGNIFY center is designed to become financially self-sustaining within 02 Years.
2025 Launch Plan
Our pilot centers will launch in:
- Lahore (Urban Inclusion Hub)
- Sheikhupura (Rural Prototype)
Planned expansions include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Karachi by the end of 2026.
